St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church Youth Ministry
SEAS Catholic Youth Ministry's purpose is to provide an environment of Catholic fellowship, faith formation and support for our young disciples. SEAS CYM works to encourage Christian living in the daily lives of the youth through Scripture studies, Apologetics and the up-building of faith and fun, all through a close-knit community of young believers! There are three youth groups for the youth of SEAS to become involved in.

SEAS Pastoral Council Youth Ministry Report – May 2023
Our weekly middle school (ROC) and high school (CREED) meetings have ended for this school year. We will resume meeting weekly in September. We will have monthly gatherings for middle and high school in June, July and August to get together and have some fun. Our group for grades 3-5 (KRUNCH) will continue meeting monthly through the summer. On April 30 we were able to honor 11 graduating high school seniors at our Recognition Luncheon. Father Kiefer and I would like to figure out a way to recognize more seniors in the future. We are open to any suggestions on what to do to get more families involved. We have a group of 21 youth and adults signed up to attend the NCYC in Indianapolis on November 15-19. We have begun a waiting list for those who missed the deadline and would still like to attend. If anyone is unable to attend, we will be able to fill their spots from the waiting list.As we head into summer, I will begin planning the formation opportunities for the upcoming school year. The parish generously provides a subscription to Life Teen. Life Teen is a fantastic developer of Catholic formation curriculum for middle and high school youth. With their wealth of subjects, I’m sure to have engaging and stimulating programs in the fall.
Thank you for all you do for our youth!
Respectfully submitted, Ellen Chindlund Youth Minister St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish
