St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church Youth Ministry
SEAS Catholic Youth Ministry's purpose is to provide an environment of Catholic fellowship, faith formation and support for our young disciples. SEAS CYM works to encourage Christian living in the daily lives of the youth through Scripture studies, Apologetics and the up-building of faith and fun, all through a close-knit community of young believers! There are three youth groups for the youth of SEAS to become involved in.
CREED | KRUNCH| ROC | Youth Conferences | Youth Resources
ROC & CREED–ROC (grades 6th-8th) and CREED (grades 9th-12th) youth groups meet weekly on Wednesdays. ROC meets from 5:00-6:30 PM and CREED meets from 7:00-8:30 PM in the Youth Room & O’Reilly Gym.
KRUNCH is the SEAS Youth Ministry program for youth in grades 3rd-5th. They meet on the 3rd Friday from 5:30-7:00 PM in the Youth Room and O’Reilly Gym. Pizza will be served.
YOUTH OPEN GYM– Come and enjoy food and fun at the next SEAS Open Gym! The Youth Room and Gym will be every toher month on a Sunday from 6:00-8:00 PM. Check Calendar for dates. Be sure to bring your friends (they don’t have to attend SEAS). Snacks and drinks provided. Open to all youth in grades 6th-12th.

SEAS Pastoral Council Youth Ministry Report – September 2023
Youth Ministry summer events were a great success. We had lots of youth from grades 6-12 at each monthly event.
We also worked hard and had some fun in the Harvest Grill. The youth who worked did a great job and definitely added to the success of this year’s Grill.
We resumed our weekly meetings for ROC and CREED, our middle and high school youth groups, on September 13, and had a great turn out, with lots of old faces and some new ones, too. Each group will begin a series on the Eucharist on September 20. This topic was chosen in order to align with the National Eucharistic Revival.
KRUNCH, our group for grades 3-5, continues to meet monthly. We average at least 25 youth in attendance each month. This group began a series on the Eucharist in August.
I will be attending a Youth Ministry Conference in Chattanooga, September 25-28. I’m looking forward to learning and sharing with other youth ministers from across the country. I have adult volunteers who will lead ROC and CREED while I am away.
Our next event will be the Haunted House at Trunk or Treat. Then we’ll be off to NCYC in mid- November.
Thank you for all you do for our youth!
Respectfully submitted,
