August 14-16 Important Mass Schedule Changes
By decree of Bishop Edward M. Rice, all Saturday Vigil Masses on August 15 have been canceled throughout the Diocese for the Diocesan Eucharistic Congress. Therefore, SEAS will not have a 4:30 PM Mass on Saturday, August 15.
To celebrate the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, SEAS will offer a Vigil Mass on Friday, August 14, at 6:30 PM. Additionally, to accommodate those who normally attend the Saturday Vigil Mass, Bishop Rice has requested parishes offer an evening Mass on Sunday. Therefore, SEAS will celebrate an additional Mass on Sunday, August 16, at 4:30 PM for the Twentieth Sunday in Ordinary Time.
Thank you for noting these important changes. We hope many of you will also participate in the Diocesan Eucharistic Congress on August 15.
