Weather Closures
If SEAS School is closed due to bad weather, the Parish Office and all events (meetings, PSR, RCIA, etc.) are also canceled. Mass is never canceled, but safety comes first—use your best judgment on icy or snowy roads. Stay safe!

Jubilee Year of St. Francis of Assisi
(800th Anniversary)
Celebrate this special Jubilee Year (Jan. 10, 2026 – Jan. 10, 2027), proclaimed by Pope Leo XIV, honoring the life and legacy of St. Francis. All are invited to grow in faith through prayer, pilgrimage, and the example of his humility and love for Christ.
A plenary indulgence may be received by visiting a church or chapel named after St. Francis, praying, and receiving the Sacraments.
Local pilgrimage sites include:
• St. Francis of Assisi – Nixa
• St. Francis Chapel – Cape Girardeau
• St. Francis Chapel – Mountain View

May 23-August 23 4th Annual Seton Summer Challenge
With summer vacations and time away from home around the corner, remember we still have our Sunday Mass obligation. We want to see what churches our parishioners are attend when away from SEAS. Pick up your Traveling Seton in the gathering area along with an information sheet (also on our website). The challenge runs May 23-Aug. 23. Prize drawings will be on Sept. 20.

June 19 KRUNCH Grades 3-5
Kids aRe United iN Christ’s House) is a Youth Ministry group for youth in 3rd-5th grades during the 2025-26 school year. Those beginning 3rd grade in the fall will join us in August. KRUNCH will meet from 5:30-7pm in the Youth Room and O’Reilly Gym for pizza, fun, and faith.

June 21 Baby Bottles for LifeHouse
On Mother’s Day weekend, pick up a baby bottle and join us in supporting LifeHouse! Simply fill it with your spare change (or cash/check) over the next few weeks.
Return your filled bottles on Father’s Day weekend.
Your small change makes a big difference in supporting life and families in need. Thank you for your generosity!

June 23-27 Vacation Bible School

VBS here at SEAS is Tuesday, June 23rd through Saturday, June 27th! It’s going to be an exciting week of fun and learning about Jesus. We will need lots of volunteers (those going into 7th grade in the fall to adults).

The 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence!
If fireworks are part of your family’s Independence Day celebrations, visit the SEAS Men’s Club fireworks stand for great prices and outstanding service. All proceeds support SEAS parish and our local community.

We're hosting an American Red Cross Blood Drive on July 17, 1:30PM-5:30PM, in the Pavilion. Scheduling can be done by calling 1-800-733-2767 or visit RedCrossBlood.org and enter: SPRINGFIELDHERO. Those who give will receive a Fandango Movie Ticket (for details: rcblood.org/july).

August 15 Diocesan Eucharistic Congress
Registration Now Open!
Join us August 15, 2026 at the West Plains Civic Center as we celebrate the 70th Anniversary of our Diocese at its first-ever Eucharistic Congress.
Highlights: Holy Mass with Bishops Conley & Rice, national speakers (including Dr. Scott Hahn & Fr. Leo Patalinghug), children & teen tracks, exhibits, and lunch.
$10 per person / $25 per family
