SEAS Music Ministry engages volunteer vocalists and instrumentalists to augment church celebrations with traditional and contemporary music. Our Adult Choir is currently looking for more vocalists and musicians, particularly those who play piano and/or organ.
This fall, SEAS will begin a Youth Choir for students in 9th-12th grades and Children's Choir for children in 3rd-8th grade. Parents of children and teens interested in participating in either of these groups should Melinda Arnold, Music Minister.
Cantors and ensemble singers are individuals or small groups who are comfortable leading the SEAS congregation in liturgical singing with the assistance of an accompanist.
Organists and pianists provide principal support for singers, which requires technical skill and comfort in this role.
Instrumental musicians (brass, woodwinds, percussion, and strings) with basic music skills add harmony and melodic support to the choir or small ensemble.
